BADGERS LOSE HEARTBREAK

Snow Loses To CEU 66-67

 EPHRAIM - Down by as much as 10 in the second half, Snow College battled back and took their first lead of the game since leading 2-0 at the beginning of the game when Reggie Shaw drilled a 3-point shot to make it 65-64 with .28 seconds remaining.

However, on CEU's final possession the Golden Eagles Tony Dalton and the Badgers Mitch Frei collided going for a rebound with 6.4 seconds remaining. Frei was whistled for the foul and Dalton drilled both free throws to put CEU up by one.

The Badgers Renato Portugal had a chance at the buzzer but his attempt came up short and the hard luck Badgers fell 66-65.

Freshman Reggie Shaw paced the Badgers with 23 points while Corbin Green, the Freshman from Olympus pitched in 12.

The Badgers drop to 3-10 in Scenic West Conference play and 9-14 overall. Up next is rival Salt Lake Community College next Saturday at 5 PM in the Snow College Activity Center.
