Two Three Pointers Seal The Deal

EPHRAIM - Down reigning Scenic West Athletic Conference player of the week Abbie Beutler the Snow College Lady Badgers turned to Sophomore Amanda Farrish, normally a power forward to run the point.

Farrish, who hadn't played point guard since high school scored six points and dished out six assists for the Lady Badgers in a hard fought 69-66 victory.

Down 64-61 with just over 90 seconds remaining Snow's Linsey Hodgkiss drained a three, part of her team leading 26-point night, to even the score. Then with the score 66-66 Sophomore Tara Gehring from Wasatch drilled another three with just over 15 seconds remaining to closeout the game.

With the win the Lady Badgers are 8-5 in SWAC play and 17-6 overall. Next up a rematch against Salt Lake Community College Saturday at 3 PM, where Snow looks to avenge a one-point loss earlier in the season.
