Ross Taylor is a Utah native and is entering his third season as head women’s wrestling coach for the Snow College Badgers. Ross coached at the high school level for the previous six years. Ross spent his first four years at Mountain View High School, where he won two region team titles and was named by the Deseret News as the 2019-2020 Utah County Coach of the Year.
Ross spent the last two years as the head coach for North Sevier High School. During Ross’s time as a high school coach, he served for two years as the Utah Wrestling Coaches Association president and sat on the UHSAA Women’s Wrestling Committee that helped sanction the sport in Utah.
Ross is a Utah Valley University Alumni where he started for the Wolverines in his junior and senior years and placed 5th at the 2016 BIG 12 Conference Championships. Prior to Utah Valley, Ross wrestled for Art Castillo at Western Wyoming Community College, where he started his freshman and sophomore years and was a 2013 NJCAA All-American.
Ross graduated from Enterprise High School where he was state champion and three-time state placer. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Ross’s family includes his wife Angela and daughter Emma.
