Gary McKenzie will enter his eighteenth year of service to Snow College. He currently serves as the Director of Athletic Operations, the Compliance officer, as well as the Badgers Head Athletic Trainer.

McKenzie has served as the College's Head Trainer for all his years while at Snow College and has made a tremendous impact on the athletic programs. During his tenure at Snow, he has helped maintain the physical conditioning of the Badger athletes. He has seen six football conference championships, four men's basketball titles, two women's basketball titles as well as three softball titles.

Gary's tremendous work at Snow has given him the opportunity to work as Region 18 Assistant Athletic Director which has him helping handle issues for not only Snow, but the other members of the conference.
McKenzie is also a full time faculty member. He teaches Sports Medicine as well as First Aid.

He began his career as a trainer as the Head Trainer at Logan High School. He served there for three and a half years before joining the badgers in January 1993.
McKenzie loves working with the student-athletes at Snow and helping them realize their athletic potential.

Gary received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and his Master's in Education from Utah State University. He is also certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association.

He is originally from Spanish Fork, Utah and married to the former Stacey Swartz. The couple have three children: Alexa (22) & Dane, Chantel (19), and Ty (15).  They also just became new grandparents to a granddaughter named Kimber.
