Mia Fernandes is in her second season as an assistant softball coach at Snow College. A former Badger, Fernandes returned to her alma mater primarily working with the team’s slappers and outfielders.

Fernandes played at Snow College during the 2019 and 2020 seasons, earning All-Conference honors in 2019. Her sophomore season in 2020 was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but she made a significant impact offensively, posting a .500 batting average with 29 hits, 19 runs scored, 14 RBIs, and three home runs. She also recorded a .517 on-base percentage and a .741 slugging percentage.
