Box Score MESA, Ariz.—The Snow College defense led the way again as the Badgers beat the Mesa Thunderbirds 57 – 9 in Arizona. The Badger defense scored the first touchdown of the game and added a second quarter safety, the seventh touchdown and fourth safety scores by the defense this season.
Snow had 557 yards of total offense, 272 on the ground and 285 through the air, while holding Mesa to minus-10 yards rushing and 210 yards of total offense. “They're doing a great job,” said head coach Tyler Hughes of his defense. “The kids really understand what they're supposed to do. They are communicating well on the field and really executing well.”

Sophomore
Breon Allen went over 1,000 yards for the season, finishing with 137 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. The Badger sophomore, beginning second in the nation with an average of 154 yards per game, now has 1,062 yards in seven games.

Snow is now 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the Western States Football League. They will play at New Mexico Military on Saturday before returning for their final home game on Oct. 27 hosting Eastern Arizona. Mesa drops to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in league play.
