Box Score 2 The Lady Badgers picked up their first home victory on Thursday against Colorado Northwestern 3-1(25-23,25-19,16-25,25-14) and kept the momentum going with an exciting 3-2 win on Sophomore night against USU-Eastern (9-25,25-22,25-22,25-27,15-8).

"It was a fun weekend for us. We played loose with confidence and lots of energy," says Head Coach Cinthia Angus. "Our defense did a phenomenal job keeping us in system and giving our hitters confidence to take chances and continue to swing."

Sydnie Martindale had 41 digs and leads the conference averaging 4.82 digs per set.Â
Marley Fakahua ended the weekend with 17 digs.Â

Sophomore
Quincey Thacker recorded 23 kills on 42 attempts with 8 errors (2.5 kps) to close the weekend with a .357 hitting %. Thacker also added 4 digs and 5 blocks.  "Quincey has been consistent throughout the entire year," says Coach Angus. "She had another great week and was awesome for us against USU-Eastern. I am really happy to see how much she has improved."

Rylee Cate and
Larissa de Paula each closed the weekend with double-doubles. Cate had  29 kills and  22 digs, while de Paula added 14 kills and 18 digs.

Snow will be on the road for matches against #6 SLCC and #2 CSI before they head back to Ephraim for their final home game of the season on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:00pm. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for the Breast Cancer Awareness game.
