Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 The Volleyball team made the trip to Rock Springs, Wyoming for the Holiday Inn Classic tournament and their first games of the preseason.  The Lady Badgers went 0-4 in the tournament, but the young team picked up some valuable in-game experience.
 
 "I was pleased with the way our team battled," says first-year head coach Cinthia Angus.  "We have a lot of new kids on the floor that are learning how to play at the college level."  Snow was not able to win a set against 9^th ranked Western Nebraska, but they kept the sets close at 21-25, 20-25, 22-25.  Coach Angus noted, "Too many errors and inconsistency make it hard to win when we are playing close sets."
 
The Lady Badgers won a set in each of the other three matches against Northwest College, Casper College and Western Wyoming Community College.  Despite the losses, Coach Angus is optimistic about her team's performance over the weekend. "We saw consistent improvement from the first match.  We will get back in the gym and work to adjust our offense so that we are ready to go next week."
 
Savannah Whitworth led the team over the weekend with 28 kills and 6 blocks while Quincy Thacker picked up 27 kills, 6 blocks and one ace. 
 
Snow will head to Salt Lake for a tournament this Friday and Saturday as preseason continues where they will meet MSU-West Plains and take on Casper, Northwest and Western Nebraska for a second time.
