Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 After a difficult preseason, Snow started conference play 2-0 with wins against Colorado Northwestern and USU-Eastern over the weekend.  "It was great to see our efforts in the gym result in positive outcomes during competition," says Head Coach Cinthia Angus. "We had a great week of practice and we were prepared to battle and ready to respond." 
 
Snow fought hard against USU-Eastern after falling behind 2-1. The Lady Badgers got behind early in the 4^th set, but rallied back to take the set 30-28 and send the game to a 5^th set where Snow would seal the comeback victory 3-2 (25-19, 20-25, 27-29, 30-28, 15-13).  "We maintained our composure and focus for the entire match, which helped us a lot during some tight situations," says Coach Angus.
 
Sophomore outside hitter, Brooke Lamb, led the team in kill % this week. "She did a tremendous job offensively during our first week of conference play," says Coach Angus. Lamb finished the weekend with 22 kills (2.7 kills per set and hitting .279) to go along with 5 blocks and 5 digs. Against CNCC she had 7 kills, hitting .308, with 3 blocks. Against USU-Eastern, she finished with 15 kills, hitting a .188, with 2 blocks and 4 digs.
 
Freshman right side hitter, Brin Stewart, was second on the team in kills. Stewart ended the weekend 18 kills (2.2 kills per set and hitting .214) with 18 digs and 8 blocks.
 
Middle blocker, Quincy Thacker, led the team in hitting % and blocks this weekend. Thacker ended the weekend with 13 kills, hitting a .346, along with 11 blocks
 
The Lady Badgers will be back in Ephraim for their first home games of the season as they take on No. 7 Salt Lake on Thursday, October 1 at 7pm and No.1 Southern Idaho on Saturday, October 3 at 1pm.
