Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (Oct. 29, 2016) – The eighth-ranked Snow College women's volleyball team improved to 19-8 on the season with a 3-2 victory over Southern Nevada on Saturday, avenging an earlier loss to the Coyotes. The Badgers struggled to get things going throughout most of the match, but in the fifth and final set, Snow hit a blistering .667 at the net, racking up nine kills on 12 attempts.

"We really didn't find our rhythm until that fifth set," Reynolds said. "Southern Nevada got the best of us a couple weeks ago, and it was clear they came to play again today. Thankfully we eliminated some errors and really played well in that fifth set."

Three Badgers finished the match with double digits in kills, including sophomore
Rylee Cate with 13 kills, sophomore
Brin Stewart with 12 kills and freshman middle blocker
Kelsie Evans with a match-high 15 kills. Stewart was also credit with 11 digs, marking the eighth time this season she has been credited with a double-double, while Evans led the team with a total of seven blocks.

Defensive standout
Sydnie Martindale tallied a match-high 26 digs, marking the 24
th game this season she has had 10 or more kills in a game. Sophomore setter totaled a match-high 46 assists.

The Badgers will travel to Twin Falls, Idaho on Friday, Nov. 4 to take on Colorado Northwestern at 10 a.m. in the first round of the Region 18 tournament. The winner will take on Salt Lake Community College in the semifinals at 4 p.m. that same day. The championship match will be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The College of Southern Idaho will serve as host for the tournament. Â
