Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (Sept. 1, 2016) -- The Snow College women's volleyball team improved to 4-1 on the season with a decisive 3-0 victory over Western Wyoming on Thursday. The Badgers edged the Mustangs in the first set, 25-23, followed by a 25-22 victory in the second set, and sealed the match with a 25-17 win in the final set.

"Western Wyoming is a really good team," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "I was impressed with how they kept fighting through the entire match. They caused us some problems early on, and as a result we made a few too many mistakes, but we stayed the course and managed to put this one away. I was really impressed with our passing. We were able to control the momentum through most of the match as a result of solid passing. I couldn't be more pleased with how things turned out tonight. The crowd was fantastic. It was great to see so many people at the game."

The Badgers will travel to Salt Lake on Friday and Saturday to participate in the Crystall Inn-vitational at Salt Lake Community College. Snow will take on Casper College, North Idaho, Western Nebraska, and Iowa Western.
