(EPHRAIM, Utah)—Gabriel Claudio's 20-yard field goal with seven seconds left lifted 5th ranked Arizona Western to a 29-27 victory over 6th ranked Snow Badgers at Robert Stoddard Field in Ephraim, Utah. The loss knocks Snow out of 1st place in the Western States Football League and blemishes their undefeated record.
Trailing 12-7 at halftime, Snow scored 14 unanswered points to take a 21-12 lead on two touchdown passes by quarterback

D'Arman Notoa. Arizona Western countered with two touchdowns of their own, including a 93-yard bomb that gave the Matadors a 26-21 lead in the 4th quarter.

D'Arman Notoa 8-yard touchdown run with 4:59 left to play. The Matadors drove the ball 74 yards setting up the game-winning field goal by Gabriel Claudio to win the game 29-27.

The Badgers drop to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in W.S.F.L. play. Snow's next game is Saturday, October 14th, at 2:00pm against the Pima Aztecs in Tucson, Arizona.
