Â
"We had a magical run this season for sure," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "I couldn't be more proud of our team. Certainly things didn't work out the way we had planned today. While we made some improvements over last year's 20-win season, we feel like we have some unfinished business, some unrealized goals. That unfinished business will be our motivation through the off-season."
Â
Throughout the 2017 season, the Badgers posted a record of 26-5 (.839), marking the most wins and the highest winning percentage in school history during the rally scoring era. Along the way, the Badgers also recorded a school record 21 three-set victories. Snow suffered only one three-set loss during the season, which also marked a school record. Snow also earned an 8-2 conference record to finish in a three-way tie for first place. The SWAC title marks the first for Snow since 1986.
Â
"This has been such an amazing group," Reynolds said. "From the moment we first came together back in August, there was an undeniable feeling that this was going to be a special season. We have accomplished so many wonderful things. It's has been one of the greatest volleyball seasons in Snow College history, and our team should be very proud of their accomplishments."
