Box Score 2 EPHRAIM, Utah (October 6, 2018) – The seventh-ranked Snow College women's volleyball team improved to 20-3 on the season with back-to-back, three-set victories this week. On Thursday, the Badgers defeated Colorado Northwestern, 3-0, followed by an important, 3-0, win over Utah State Eastern on Saturday.

"After dropping a pair of tough road games last weekend at Salt Lake and Southern Idaho, it was important for us to come home and re-group," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "This process involved reviewing our goals, our commitment, and our motivation. I couldn't be more proud of the way this team stepped up and came out fighting this week."

On Thursday, a total of 16 different players saw action in the team's 25-19, 25-12, 25-22 victory over the Spartans. Freshman Belle Anderson led the Badgers with 8 kills on 15 attempts for a team-high .533 hitting efficiency.
Andreanna McKee and
Sai Collins each produced five kills in the victory, while
Stacey Hone,
Kiley McCall, and
Bridget Triplett had four kills each.

On Saturday, the Badgers fell behind early, but came storming back behind solid serving, an imposing block, and sharp passing. Once Snow regained the lead at 19-18 in the first set, the team never trailed through the remainder of the match.

Freshman
Ashlen Bell led the Badgers with 9 kills on 18 attempts, followed by
Sai Collins who hit a blistering .412 on 8 kills in 17 attempts, with just one error. Freshman libero
Savannah Tanner had 16 service receptions with no errors, and was credited with 14 digs. Sophomore Madi Day had a match-high four blocks.

With the win, the Badgers improved to 20-3 on the season, which marks a school record third straight year the team has won 20 or more games in a season. Â
