Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (Sept. 18, 2018) -- Fresh off a three-game road trip to New York, the Badgers returned to the friendly confines of the Horne Activity Center for a rare, mid-week home match against Western Wyoming on Tuesday evening. Now ranked No. 4 in the nation, according to the latest NJCAA National Volleyball Poll, the Badgers dismantled the Mustangs in three straight sets, 25-14, 25-9, 25-15.
"I have to be honest, I was a little concerned about having our legs underneath us tonight," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "That was a long road trip and I had some concerns that it might have taken a bit too much out of us to come back, have one practice, and then play again tonight against a team that took us to five sets earlier in the season. But, I couldn't be more proud of the way this team took control of the match early, and didn't let up until it was over. That, to me, is a sign of a pretty resilient, dedicated and focused team. We're excited to have the preseason behind us, and now looking forward to our conference season."
The Badgers finished the preseason with a record of 17-1, marking the best record through 18 games in school history. Snow will begin conference play on Saturday, as the Badgers play host to Southern Nevada at 1 p.m. (MT).
