Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Badgers Go Undefeated in Conference Play

EPHRAIM, Utah (November 2, 2019) -- For the first time in school history, the Snow College women's volleyball team has finished the conference season with a perfect, 10-0 record. The Badgers downed Colorado Northwestern, 3-1, on Saturday to extend their win streak to 19 straight games, and finish the regular season with a 30-2 overall record.

"It's been a tremendous run so far this season." Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "Considering the great teams in this conference, it is a remarkable accomplishment to run the table. I couldn't be more proud of this group. We have to give a lot of credit to Colorado Northwestern. We changed things up a bit, but the Spartans gave us a run for our money there in the third set. Coach Bryant and her team did a really nice job."

Sophomore Andreanna McKee racked up a season-high 19 kills on 33 attempts (.485) to help lead the Badgers. Fellow sophomore Sarah Morley was credited with 11 kills on 22 attempts (.455). She also had a team leading 14 digs. Snow out-blocked the Spartans, 9-3, led by Bridget Triplett and Marcie Stapley who had five and four blocks, respectively. Triplett also added seven kills and two aces. Stapley chipped in five kills and one ace.

With the win, Snow improved to 30-2 on the season, which marks the most wins in school history (during the rally scoring era.) The Badgers will have a first-round bye in the Region XVIII Tournament next week. Snow will play the winner of the Colorado Northwestern vs. Salt Lake C.C. match. Game time is set for Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. The Spartans and Bruins will play at 1 p.m. on Friday. In the other bracket, Southern Idaho will take on Southern Nevada at 10 a.m. The winner will take on No. 2 seed Utah State Eastern at 4 p.m. on Friday.
