Box Score 2 HUTCHINSON, Kan. (Nov. 22, 2019) -- The Snow College women's volleyball team's record setting season came to an end on Friday following a three-set loss to Panola College at the NJCAA National Championship Tournament. Despite back-to-back losses at the National Tournament, the Badgers finished the season with a 32-4 overall record.
"Clearly things didn't go as we had planned at the national tournament," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "We have to give credit to some really good teams here at the tournament. We had a bit of bad luck with the injury bug, but I'm pleased with how the team rallied together. This is a special group, and they have had an absolutely remarkable season. We couldn't be more proud of them."
Despite 18 kills and 10 digs from sophomore
Sarah Morley and 12 kills and five blocks from freshman Lyida Montague, the Badgers were unable to take down Northeastern on Thursday. The Plainswomen recorded the 3-1 victory. In Snow's second-round match-up on Friday, sophomore
Andreanna McKee totaled a team leading nine kills, and freshman
Camden Strain was credited with six kills; however, it would not be enough to slow down Panola College. The Fillies defeated the Badgers, 3-0.Â
