EPHRAIM, Utah (Feb 9, 2019) -- The Snow College women's basketball team extended its win streak to seven straight games after picking up a 77-51 win over Colorado Northwestern on Saturday. Now 19-7 on the season and 7-2 in league play, Snow College remains tied with Salt Lake C.C. for the lead in the Scenic West standings after the Lady Bruins picked up a win over USU Eastern on Saturday.
While the Lady Badger starters were outscored by the CNCC starters, 47-43, it was the Snow College bench that made the difference by outscoring the Lady Spartans, 34-4. Fresh off a 20-point performance at CNCC earlier this week,
Micah Gustafson came off the bench to score 15 points in the Lady Badgers' 26-point win.
Megan Carr led the Lady Badgers with a game high 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. Carr and Gustafosn were both credited with nine rebounds each.
Snow College will next travel to Price, Utah on Thursday to take on Utah State Eastern. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m. (MT).
