LAS VEGAS, Nevada (March 7, 2020) -- The Snow College women's softball team won three of four games at Southern Nevada over the weekend, improving to 7-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Lady Badgers started the weekend off with an 8-6 win over the Coyotes in extra innings. In the second game of the double-header, sophomore pitcher
Mickie Mills was credited with the 10-0 shutout victory. On Saturday, Southern Nevada registered an 11-8 victory over the Lady Badgers after coming from behind late in the game. In the final game of the four-game series, Snow College held on for a 9-7 victory after Southern Nevada.
With three wins this weekend, the Lady Badgers are now in a tie with Southern Idaho for first place in the Scenic West standings. Snow will next travel to Southern Idaho on Friday, March 13-14.
