TWIN FALLS, Idaho (February 27, 2021) -- After picking up a 14-point victory over Southern Idaho in Ephraim last Thursday, Snow College was unable to duplicate the feat on Saturday in Twin Falls, falling to the Golden Eagles, 55-45.
The Lady Badgers trailed 25-24 at the half, but made only one field goal (on 12 attempts) in the third quarter to trail by nine points entering the final period. Despite the Lady Badgers' third-quarter shooting woes, Snow out-shot Southern Idaho , 35.4 percent to 33.9 percent on the afternoon. The Lady Badgers were 0-for-12 from three-point range. Snow had just one player in double figures with freshman
Sarah Lange (Munich, Germany) picking up 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting. She, along with
Passion Reitz, had a team-high eight rebounds each.
The Lady Badgers will return hom to Ephraim to take on Utah State Eastern on Thursday, March 4. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. (MT).
