RICHFIELD, Utah (April 2, 2021) -- The NJCAA Region XVIII Women's Volleyball Tournament will kickoff on Friday, April 2 at the Sevier Valley Center, located in Richfield, Utah. Initially scheduled as a six-team tournament that included two first-round matchups, two teams are not able to participate due to health and safety protocols due to COVID. As a result, the first-round games have been canceled, and both Salt Lake C.C. and Southern Idaho will advance to the semi-final round. 

Volleyball action will begin at 4 p.m. as the No. 3 seed Salt Lake C.C. (12-7) will take on the No. 2 seed Utah State Eastern (22-4). The final match of the night will feature the Scenic West Conference Champions and top-seed Snow College (21-2) vs. Southern Idaho (11-10). Game time is set for 7 p.m.

Following the 4 p.m. match, the All-Region first and second teams will be announced in a special ceremony. In addition, the region's player of the year, defensive player of the year and the coach of the year will be announced. 

The winner of the Region XVIII Women's Volleyball Tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA Division-I National Women's Volleyball Championship. The national championships will be held April 15-17 in West Plains, Missouri.

Game 4: 1 p.m. - CHAMPIONSHIP: Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 2

TICKET INFORMATION
Spectators will be permitted to attend the Region XVIII Women's Volleyball Tournament. Tickets may be purchased on-line in advance, or at the door. Please click here for ticket information. 
A two-day, general-admission ticket is $25, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students. A single-day, general admission ticket is $15, $10 for seniors and $5 for students.
