Ross Reeves drained four straight three-pointers to tie the score at 60-60 with 9:46 left in the game, giving the Badgers all the momentum they would need to take down Utah State Eastern on Thursday, 86-79. With the win, Snow improves to 9-5 on the season and 4-3 in Scenic West play.
Tredyn Christensen's layup with 7:50 left in the game gave Snow the lead for good, as the Badgers went on the outscore USUE, 49-37, in the second half. Snow's bench was vastly depleted with five players out of action for tonight's game due to illness.
All totaled five players scored in double-digits for the Badgers with Reeves picking up a team-high 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field.
Hagen Wright added 17 points with Christensen dropping 16 points.
Michael Scheffner and
Drake Allen rounded out the balanced scoring with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Christensen tallied a game-high 10 rebounds on the night.
Snow will return to action on Saturday as the Badgers play host to Colorado Northwestern. Game time is slated for 3 p.m.
