Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (March 5, 2021) -- The third-ranked Snow College women's volleyball team handed No. 11 Salt Lake C.C. its first conference loss of the season with a 3-1 decision on Friday. With the win, the Badgers improve to 14-2 on the season and move to within a half game of the lead in the Scenic West standings. The win also marked the 11th straight home victory for Snow College, dating back to the 2018 season.
"Anytime you can beat Southern Idaho and Salt Lake in the same week, that's a really good week," Snow College head coach Jeff Reynolds said. "Salt Lake is a solid team and they're not leading the league by mistake. I'm proud of our kids for working through this week with all the issues we had related to Covid, and taking care of business against two very talented teams. Tonight was such an important win for us."

Camden Strain led the Badgers with 12 kills on 29 attempts, hitting an impressive .310 on the night. Sophomore

Macie Gordon each had nine kills, while sophomore
Lydia Montague had eight kills for the Badgers. Freshman
KJ Strong led Snow with seven blocks on the night, while Gordon and Talia added five and four blocks, respectively. Sophomore
Jentry Ison registered a team-high 23 digs, while freshman setter
Macy Short had 35 assists and 16 digs.
The Badgers have a full slate of home games next week, beginning with a non-conference match against Region 9 opponent, Western Wyoming, on Monday evening. On Wednesday, Snow will take on Colorado Northwestern and on Friday, the Badgers will play host to No. 4 Utah State Eastern. All games are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
