OPENING KICKOFF: The Snow College women's soccer team will play its final matchup of the season Thursday as it hosts Utah State University Eastern.
The Badgers enter the matchup with the Eagles having won eight straight matches dating back to September 8 in a 7-0 win over the College of Southern Nevada.
Snow College is coming off a 4-2 win against No. 4 Salt Lake Community College avenging its only loss of the season when the Bruins defeated the Badgers 2-0 September 1. Since that loss, the Badgers have gone 8-0-1. They currently sit in second place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings behind SLCC.
Snow College could tie for the regular season conference title with a win over USUE and an SLCC tie or loss to either Truckee Meadows Community College or USUE. They could win the conference with a SLCC tie or loss to both TMCC and USUE.
The match is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Snow College Soccer Complex in Ephraim.

Skye Kennedy has been names the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week. This comes after helping the Badgers earn two victories over Colorado Northwestern Community College and No. 4 Salt Lake Community College.
Kennedy scored four total goals – two in each match – and had two assists to help the Badgers to a 2-0 weekend. The Badgers have won eight matches in a row and have jumped up to eight in the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Rankings.
Kennedy has played and started in all 13 matches for the Badgers this season. She has totaled 24 goals, which is the Snow College record for goals in a season. Her 24 goals not only leads the SWAC but is second in the country.
Kennedy's best match of the season came against the College of Southern Nevada where she scored five goals and handed out two assists to help Snow College to an 18-0 victory October 6. Kennedy has scored a goal in 11 matches this season, including scoring in each game of Snow College's eight-game winning streak. She has also scored at least two goals in nine of 13 matches. Kennedy has nine assists on the season which is third best on the team.
KNOW YOUR FOE: The Eagles enter Saturday's matchup with a 7-4-1 overall record and a 6-2-1 record in SWAC play. The Eagles only conference losses came against No. 4 Salt Lake Community College September 8, with a final score of 1-0. The other was a 2-0 to the Badgers October 1.
The Badgers are 15-1-3 overall against the Eagles dating back to 2016. The Badger's only loss came on the road in a 1-0 loss April 24, 2021. Snow College won eight straight matches against USU-E between September 2017 and October 2018. The Badgers are currently on a four-game winning streak against the Eagles and have only allowed eight goals since 2016.
UP NEXT: The Badgers will participate in the 2022 NJCAA Region 18 Tournament. The tournament will take place at the men's soccer winner of the regular season SWAC tournament, which as it stands now would be SLCC.
Snow College, who sits in the two seed currently, would face USUE in the first round of the tournament. USUE could leapfrog the Badgers and earn the two seed, but they would need to beat Snow College Thursday and beat SLCC Saturday.
