Snow College Men's Basketball Head Coach Andrew May has announced the signing of 6'8 forward Jackson Brinkerhoff.
"Jackson is an experienced third-year sophomore forward," May said. "His ability to space the floor with his perimeter jumper and his feel as a passer makes him a formidable offensive player. In terms of leadership, he is a mature player that will bring composure and consistency to our team. His progress in his skill and efficiency from where was as a senior in high school to now is impressive. We are excited to welcome Jackson to the Snow College team!"
Jackson comes to Snow College after two years at CSI where he started 10 games for them and averaged 36% from 3 and 72% from the foul line.
"I chose Snow college because it's a school that plays a fast paced, fundamental style of basketball." Jackson said, "Snow has a winning culture in a tough juco conference with a new yet experienced coaching staff. Players and coaches are not only bought into making the national tournament, but being national champions."
Jackson attended Lone Peak High School in Utah where his high school team was ranked 17th nationally his senior season and won the Utah 6A State Championship. He averaged 13.8 Points, 6.2 Rebounds and 1.4 Assists per game. Jackson received all-state accolades both his junior and senior year, and was named the player of the game in the state championship his senior year.
