Box Score The Snow College Badgers improved to 6-1-1 overall and 3-1-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play with a 9-1 victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College Thursday.

Snow College got the scoring started in the 12
th minute with a goal by
Kennley Bradley. Â
Candela Gonzalez fed the ball back to Bradley who fired from nearly 40 yards out and found back net to give the Badgers a 1-0 lead.

Madelyn McQueen would extend the lead for the Badgers on a header served in by
Mayu Yamamoto.  Yamamoto would be on the receiving end of Snow College's next goal as she took a pass from
Skye Kennedy and beat the keeper extending the lead 3-0.

Snow College would add two more tallies before halftime on goals from
Belle Meadows and
Emma Thomson. Â
Miku Kayama and Breanna Wayman provided the assists to give the Badgers a 5-0 lead at the halftime break.

Fiona Jensen would be the sixth goal scorer for the Badgers as she found back net off a pass from Yamamoto.

The Spartans would not go scoreless as they would score in the 47
th minute on a shot that was centered and scored from six yards out.

The Badgers would get the tally back seven minutes later as Kennedy outpaced her defender and slid one past the keeper from just inside the 18-yard box. Â
Emma Young put Snow College up 8-1 in the 70
th minute off a corner kick from Jensen.

Snow College capped off the scoring in the 78
th minute as
Laila Spring found the back of the net off a pass from Thomson.  The Badgers would salt away the rest of the period and cruised to a 9-1 win.

In total, Snow College had nine goal scorers throughout the match.  The Badgers took 39 total shots -15 on goal - compared to just four for the Spartans.

The Badgers will head back out onto the road to face Utah State University Eastern Saturday, October 1 in Price.  Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Castleview Hospital Soccer Field.
