GAME NOTES:

  • The Snow College men's Basketball team will continue its longest stretch of home games of the season at the Snow College Classic.  The Badgers will welcome a pair of opponents to the Horne Activity Center beginning with Casper College Friday at 7:00 p.m. followed by Eastern Wyoming College Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

  • The Badgers are coming off an 80-68 victory over Central Wyoming College Tuesday.  Snow College outscored the Rustlers by 15 points in the second half despite trailing by three points going into halftime.

  • Following the victories over the weekend at the Gila Monster Shootout, the Badgers moved up to 11th in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Poll.  11th was the highest the Badgers were ranked during the 2022-23 season after starting the year 7-0.

  • The Badgers have shot over 50 percent from the field in four of their five games of the season.  They are currently ranked fifth overall in the nation in field goal percentage at just over 55 percent per game.

  • Snow College committed just five turnovers in the 12-point victory against the Rustlers.  This is the fewest turnovers the Badgers have committed since they committed four turnovers in a 93-85 loss against North Idaho College Feb. 15, 2014. The Badgers are currently eighth overall in the country in turnovers per game at just 8.6.

  • The Badgers have shot 45 percent from 3-point range in three of their four games this season.  As a team, they are currently shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc, which ranks them at 15th overall in the country.

  • The Thunderbirds own a 3-3 overall record this season and are coming off an 80-68 loss against the College of Southern Idaho.  The Badgers are 5-2 overall against Casper all-time and have won back-to-back games.  These two teams last met in an 80-72 Snow College victory Nov. 6, 2021.

  • EWC owns a 1-4 overall record to begin the season and has lost consecutive games to Salt Lake Community College and Utah State University Eastern.  The Badgers have never met with the Lancers before.

UP NEXT: Snow College will continue its seven-game home stretch as it welcomes in a pair of opponents for the Snow College Thanksgiving Tournament. The Badgers will host Treasure Valley Community College Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Green River College Saturday at 3:00 p.m.  For video streaming and live stat information visit snowbadgers.com.
