OPENING KICKOFF: The Snow College women's soccer team is taking on Salt Lake Community College for their first conference game of the year. 

Snow College, according to the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Poll, is ranked 17th coming into the matchup with a 1-1 record, while SLCC comes into the game undefeated and ranked 2nd in the poll.

Snow College won its first game of the season in Casper, Wyoming, winning 1-0 and lost its home opener against Western Wyoming Community College despite having 17 total shots, five of which being on goal with a score of 2-1.

KNOW YOUR FOE: Last season, the Snow College Badgers took on the Bruins three times, two of them being losses. With Snow College's victory last season October 15 against SLCC, the Badgers put up nine total shots, four of them on goal, whereas SLCC only had two on goal. The Badgers lost against SLCC in the Scenic West Athletic Conference Tournament  Championship October 29, despite having 16 shots on goal, whereas SLCC had only 11.

BY THE NUMBERS: Snow College took on Casper Community College last Saturday and defeated them 1-0. Snow College put up 11 shots and five of them were on goal. where CCC only put up seven. Daisha Wagner scored the lone goal for the Badgers off an assist from Kadyn Hydar.

UP NEXT: Snow College will take on the College of Southern Nevada in Henderson Sept. 9.  Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CSN has a record of 0-1-1 losing one of their games to Yavapai College and tying scores with Eastern Arizona College.
