OPENING SERVE: The Snow College women's volleyball team will travel to Sterling, Colorado to participate in the Sheila Worley Invitational tournament hosted by Northeastern Junior College. The Badgers will take on five opponents during the two-day event including games against Western Nebraska Community College, Iowa Western Community College, No. 6 Northeastern Junior College, Dodge City Community College, and Indian Hills Community College.
The Badgers have participated in two tournaments to start the season. They were idle last weekend but will enter the Sheila Worley Invitational with a 3-5 overall record. Snow College collected a five-set victory last Friday against Hill College at the Odessa Invitational in Odessa, Texas. The Badgers earned two victories against Daytona State College and No. 3 Missouri State University-West Plains in the opening weekend of the season at the UFirst Intermountain Invitational.
KNOW YOUR FOE: Snow College will open the weekend against WNCC. The Cougars are 5-5 overall this season but have lost their last four games in a row while participating in the Crystal "Inn"vitational in Taylorsville, Utah. The Badgers are 2-4 all time against the Cougars.
IWCC will be the second of three matches the Badgers will play Friday. The Reivers are 5-7 overall this year but are currently on a three-game winning streak. They are coming off a pair of three-set sweeps against Otero College and Frank Phillips College. Snow College and IWCC have split four matches head-to-head since 2014.
The Badgers will wrap up Friday as they take on host school and No. 6-ranked NJC. The Plainsmen are 12-2 this season. They won each of their first 12 matches to begin the season but have since lost back-to-back games against Odessa College and New Mexico Military Institute. The Badgers have had plenty of success against NJC winning eight of their last nine meetings.
Snow College will take on Dodge City Community College in the first of two matches Saturday. The Conquistadors are 8-5 overall this season and 1-1 within Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play. They have won four out of their last five including a three-set sweep against No. 20 Barton County Community College Wednesday.
The Badgers will wrap up the Sheily Worley Invitational against IHCC. The Warriors were ranked fourth in the NJCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll but have gotten off to a 6-5 start to the season. Saturday's matchup will mark the first meeting between the two teams.

The Mustangs are 8-1 overall this season with their lone loss going against NJC in the opening weekend of the season. They have won six straight matches following the defeat and will participate in the Starr Invitational in Twin Falls, Idaho this weekend before the matchup with the Badgers.
