Men's Basketball Drops Game to CSI

The Snow College men's basketball team suffered an 85-71 loss against the College of Southern Idaho Saturday in Twin Falls.  This is just the second loss of the season for the Badgers.

Snow College entered the matchup following a thrilling 77-75 victory against North Idaho College.  It was a 3-pointer with less than two seconds remaining from Coleman Ford that lifted the Badgers over the Cardinals in the two teams' first meeting since 2019.

The Badgers never led in the game as the Golden Eagles claimed the wire-to-wire victory.  Snow College shot just 41 percent from the field throughout the game – its lowest total of the season.  The Badgers also committed a season-high 16 turnovers against the Golden Eagles.  CSI led by as many as 18 points and went on to win 85-71.

Three Badgers finished in double figures led by Colin Christenson, who tallied 17 points and six rebounds. Max Triplett added 14 points and five boards while Isaac Finlinson poured in 13 points in the loss.

The Badgers will now begin a stretch of five consecutive home games beginning with the College of Southern Nevada Thursday.  The matchup with the Coyotes is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. inside the Horne Activity Center in Ephraim.  For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.
