Snow College Men's Basketball Head Coach
Andrew May has announced the signing of McCaden Adams, a 6'3 redshirt freshman guard from Utah Valley University.
"McCaden is a long, smart, and tough player," May said. "McCaden has good instincts as a player. He's a crafty finisher around the rim and is a good shooter to be able to space the floor. Because of his craftiness, he is able to get to the foul line consistently. He does a great job staying composed and focused and defensively has great anticipation. We welcome McCaden and his fiance Sadie to the Snow Badger family."
Adams recently redshirted at Utah Valley University in the WAC after returning home from a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile. Adams prepped at Pleasant Grove High School where he led his team to the 2022 Region Championship as well as a final-four appearance in the 6A state tournament. Adams also played AAU for the Salt Lake Rebels.
Adams was chosen as the 6A Player of the Year in Utah by the Deseret News where he averaged 20.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 2.4 apg, and 1.6 spg as a senior. As a junior, Adams was chosen to the 6A Third Team where he averaged 15 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.5 apg, and 1 spg.
"I chose Snow College because it is the best place for me to better my basketball career, marriage, and life right now, Adams said"
