The Snow College men's and women's cross country teams put together a strong performance at the NJCAA National, which concluded Tuesday. Both teams competed at the cross country championships and the half-marathon nationals.

The men's cross country team finished tied for third at the cross country championships among a field of 30 teams. The team then finished fourth at the half-marathon nationals in the 32-team field.

Caden Timm-DuShane was the Badgers' top finisher as he landed just outside the top 15 with a time of 25:55.8 in the 8k race to finish 16
th overall.
Brett Bailey came next with a time of 26:12.4 to finish inside the top 25 at 23
rd overall.

Jake Seegmiller rounded out a top-25 finish as he crossed the line shortly after Bailey with a time of 26:14.9.
Carter Day claimed 30
th overall with a time of 26:26.4, while
David Barlow landed just outside the top 50, finishing in 27:00.5. Timm-DuShane, Bailey, Seegmiller, and Day were all named All-Americans.

Dallin Przybyla and
Adam Willis came in with times of 27:41.6 and 28:16.0 to finish in 86
th place and 108
th place, respectively. As a team, the Badgers finished with 144 points to finish in a tie for third place with Butler Community College.

In the half-marathon nationals, it was Timm-DuShane who once again paced the Badgers as he recorded a time of 1:07:45.3 to earn 13
th place. Day came next in 16
th place with a time of 1:08:59.1. Once again, Timm-DuShane, Day, and Bailey were named All-Americans.

Bailey and Barlow crossed the line in 1:10:31.7 and 1:11:02.8 to finish 25
th and 30
th overall.
Tyler Taggart finished inside the top 50 with a time of 1:12:06.3 to earn 40
th place. The top three finished for the Badgers tallied a score of 50 points to place fourth as a team.

On the women's side,
Reese Moss finished the 5k cross country championship in 18:47.0, placing her in ninth place. As a result of her top-10 finish, she was named an All-American. Â
Lydia Olsen claimed 35
th place with a time of 19:53.9.
Mariah George earned a top-40 finish at 20:02.6.

Charity Whitehead and
Sophie Starr rounded out the top five for the Badgers as Whitehead landed in 52
nd place with a time of 20:15.8, while Starr crossed the line in 20:34.0 to claim 65
th place. As a team, the Badgers finished with 199 points to finish sixth in the field of 26 teams.

In the half-marathon race, Olsen led a pair of Badgers that finished in the top 20. She earned 17
th place with a time of 1:24:27.4. Moss came next for the Badgers at 1:25:09.0. Both women were named All-Americans.

Starr, Whitehead, and Lily Bailey all earned top-30 finishes for the Badgers. Starr finished 27th with a time of 1:28:18.2. Whitehead came two seconds later at 1:28:20.2, landing at 28
th. Bailey earned 30
th with a time of 1:29:28.5. The team collected 57 points to finish 5
th in the 22-team field.
