Brock McClure of the Snow College men's basketball team has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the Conference announced Monday. This is McClure's third time this season receiving the weekly award.

McClure was a centerpiece for Snow College as the No. 1 Badgers collected two road victories last week. He averaged 19.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as the Badgers defeated Salt Lake Community College and Colorado Northwestern Community College.

In the Badgers' 103-76 victory against SLCC, McClure scored 13 points on 6-11 shooting while recording a career-high 19 rebounds. It's the most rebounds a Badger has recorded in a game in over a decade. The double-double against the Bruins was McClure's 12
th of the season.

Against the Spartans, McClure led all scorers with 26 points on 10-16 shooting and 4-6 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed five boards as the Badgers earned the 109-60 victory.

On the season, McClure, a sophomore from Lumberton, Texas, is averaging 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. He is doing so on 50 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range.

He has scored in double figures in 22 of 25 games he's played in this season, including five occasions where he scored 20 points or more. Additionally, his 9.0 rebounds per game leads the conference and lands him 26
th overall within the NJCAA.

The Badgers, who sit at 24-1 overall and are tied with the College of Southern Idaho atop the SWAC standings at 9-1, will begin a three-game homestand Thursday against Utah State University Eastern.
