Prior to Snow College

Wilson was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland, and spent eight years in the Aberdeen FC Academy. After being released, he signed with Inverurie Locos in the Highland League.
 
At 18, Wilson moved to the United States to study and play at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and later at the University of Central Arkansas. After his college career, he returned home to play two seasons with Formartine United in the Highland League.
 
During his time at Formartine, He also served as Assistant Coach for the Formartine United U20s, gaining valuable experience in player development. In the spring of 2025, Wilson began his U.S. coaching career as a volunteer assistant with Westminster College before being hired at Snow College to serve as the assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams.
