Snow College Athletics

2011-2012 Season: Sorensen finished her Freshman season for the Badgers playing in 54 sets and being just one of three players to start and play in all 10 conference matches. Her 136 kills for the season were third-best on the squad and eighth in the SWAC. She averaged 2.03 digs per set (110 total), and came up with a total 13 blocks. She served four aces and three assists.

Jordan High School: Sorensen was coached by Brandi McCammon. She lettered three years in Volleyball (2009-2011).  As a Sophomore she was selected Varsity Volleyball Most Improved Player. Her Junior year she was the teams MVP and was selected First-Team All-Region.  In 2011 she was again selected the team's MVP and First-Team All-Region.  She also lettered in Basketball and earned Rookie of the Year during the 2009 Basketball season.  

Amy is the daughter of JoLynn and Henry Sorenson. She likes to play with her little brother Blake when she's not playing Volleyball.
