Badgers Finish Strong as SWAC Tournament Awaits

RANGELY, Colorado (February 25, 2017) — The Snow College men's basketball team picked up their 25th win on the season against Colorado Northwestern Community College 88-76 on Saturday Night. Snow finished the regular season with a 25-5 overall record and a 13-3 record in conference play.

Snow College went on a 13-2 run to begin the game before CNCC went on a 24-19 run to pull the game within 6 points at with five minutes left to play in the first half.  The Badgers went on a 10-4 run to finish the half as the Badgers went into halftime leading the Spartans 42-30.

With just over four minutes left in the second half, Nate Bruneel dished off an assist to Blake Truman who threw down a dunk to put the Badgers ahead by 12.  The Badgers and Spartans continued to exchange shots throughout the second half, but the Spartans weren't able to track down the quick paced offense of the Badgers as Snow College picked up their 25th win on the season.  

Snow College will take part in the SWAC tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 3, 2017 at 2p.m.
