Badgers Suffer Road Loss at CNCC

Box Score RANGELY, Colo. (January 20, 2018) – Looking to pick up its first conference road win of the season, the Snow College men's basketball team struggled to overcome Colorado Northwestern's strong second half, falling to the Spartans, 82-80, in Rangely, Colo., on Saturday evening.

Jake Bailey's bucket at the end of the first half tied the score at 39-39; however, CNCC came out strong and went on a 12-0 run to take a 13-point lead midway through the second half. The Badgers remained scoreless over three and a half minutes during the Spartans' scoring run. The Badgers cut the lead to five points after going on a 10-2 run of their own, and cut the CNCC lead to just one point following a three-pointer from Logan Hokenson with 4:07 remaining in the game. While Snow came close, CNCC never relinquished the lead through the remainder of the game.

CNCC got a boost from their bench with Elijah Coleman scoring 15 points, including four three-pointers and Thomas Bullock scoring 13 points, going 4-of-5 from the field. Starters Greg Martin and David Riley also had 10 and 11 points, respectively.
