Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (January 25, 2018) -- The Snow College men's basketball team gave up 61 points in second half, falling to No. 12 Southern Idaho on Thursday, 97-69. The loss marked the second straight for the Badgers, and their seventh in the last eight games. With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 20-3 on the season and own a 4-1 record in league play. Snow falls to 11-10 on the season and is now 1-4 in league play. 

The Badgers clung to a one-point lead going into halftime, 37-36; however, the Golden Eagles posted 61 second-half points behind the sharp shooting of Charles Jones, Jr. who racked up a game-high 31 points. Jones was 10-of-16 from the field, including 3-of-5 from behind the three-point line in the second half. The Golden Eagles shot a blistering 62.2 percent from the field in the second half while the Badgers shot just over 31 percent in the final 20 minutes, including just 2-of-15 from behind the three-point line. 

Sophomore Romaine Boxus led the Badgers with 16 points and seven rebounds. Logan Hokanson added 15 points. Jayden Coke came off the bench to score 13 points. 

Snow will look to rebound on Thursday, Feb. 1 against Colorado Northwestern. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. in Ephraim.
