Jaylen Warren has been named the 2018 NJCAA National Offensive Player of the Year. Warren, who helped lead the Badgers to an 8-3 season and a No. 9 national ranking, racked up 1,435 yards rushing on the season. The 5-foot-8 native of Salt Lake City led the nation with 159.4 yards rushing per game. He ranked second nationally with an average of 8.6 yards per carry and third with 15 touchdowns on the season.
Warren, a 2018 NJCAA First-Team All-American, posted a season-high 237 yards rushing in the Badgers' 56-43 win at Trinity Valley. Against Phoenix, Warren racked up 210 yards rushing on just eight carries, averaging a season-high 26.3 yards per carry. He totaled a season high four touchdowns in the Badgers' 64-17 win over Pima.
