EPHRAIM, Utah (January 10, 2018) -- Despite holding a three-point lead at halftime, the Snow College women's basketball team dropped their Scenic West Conference opener to Southern Idaho on Thursday, 60-48. With the loss, the Lady Badgers drop to 12-6 on the season, while CSI improved to 14-5 and 2-0 in league play. 

Southern Idaho outscored Snow, 38-23, in the second half to overcome a three-point halftime deficit. Sophomore Paige Farnsworth lead the Lady Badgers in scoring, recording 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field that included two three-pointers. Lourdes Gonzalez was the top rebounder for Snow, grabbing nine rebounds on the night. 

The Lady Badgers will look to rebound on Saturday at Salt Lake Community College. Game time is set for 3 p.m. (MT).
