SALT LAKE CITY (January 12, 2019) -- Sophomore guard
Paige Farnsworth nailed back-to-back free throws with :17.7 seconds remaining to force overtime at No. 17 Salt Lake C.C. on Saturday. The Lady Badgers, however, were outscored in overtime, 9-2, to eventually fall to the Bruins, 71-64. With the loss, Snow College slipped to 12-7 on the season, while Salt Lake improved to 16-3.
Through the hard-fought contest, three Lady Badgers scored in double-digits, led by Farnsworth with 13 points on 3-of-8 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Rachel Richards and
Savannah Domgaard each had 10 points for Snow. Lourdes Conzalez was credited with a team-best 10 rebounds on the night.
Salt Lake's Lauren Gustin posted a game-high 40 points and 22 rebounds on the night.
The Lady Badgers will prepare now to take on Colorado Northwestern on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Ephraim.
