SALT LAKE CITY (January 12, 2019) -- Romans Behrens dribbled the distance of the court and knocked down a shot in the lane with just :02 remaining to give Snow College a 92-90 win over No. 9 Salt Lake C.C. on Saturday. The win ends a five-game losing streak to the Bruins, dating back to February 18, 2017, and marks the first victory for Snow at SLCC during the Rob Nielson era. With the win, the Badgers improve to 16-4 on the season, including a record of 1-1 in conference play.
The Badgers connected on 17-of-28 attempts from three-point range, posting a 60.7 percentage from behind the arc.
Brayden Johnson led Snow with 22 points and seven rebounds. Johnson was 9-of-13 from the field, including 3-for-3 from three-point range.
Jake Walker added 17 points for the Badgers, hitting a game-high five three-pointers on the night.
The Badgers will prepare now to take on Colorado Northwestern on Thursday, Jan. 17. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
