Box Score EPHRAIM, Utah (January 19, 2019) -- The Snow College men's basketball team picked up a crucial 68-57 road win at Utah State Eastern on Saturday. Not only did the victory end a USUE four-game win streak, including wins over nationally ranked Southern Idaho and Salt Lake C.C., but also moved the Badgers into a tie with the Eagles for the top spot in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings.
Brayden Johnson led the Badgers with a game-high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field, including 5-of-9 shots from three-point range.
Logan Hokanson dropped 14 points, while
Jake Walker added 12 points for the Badgers. Stockon Shorts picked up a double-double in the win, collecting 10 points and 10 rebounds. All totaled the Badgers drained 13 three-pointers on the night, marking the second straight game the team totaled 13 or more three-pointers.
The Badgers will next travel to Twin Falls, Idaho to take on Southern Idaho on Thursday, Jan 24 at 7:30 p.m.. The team will then return home to face Salt Lake C.C. on Saturday, January 26. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
