SALT LAKE CITY (February 16, 2019) -- For the first time, the Snow College men's basketball team completed the season series sweep of Salt Lake C.C. with a 98-87 win over the Bruins on Saturday. A total of six different players scored in double-digits to pick up the 11-point victory and maintain a one-game lead over Southern Idaho for first place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings.
Brayden Johnson led Snow College with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 2-of-3 shots from three-point range.
Truman Moore chipped in 15 points and was credited with a team-high six rebounds.
Darrian Nebeker added 14 points on 6-of-13 attempts from the field, while
Jake Walker and
Brantzen Blackner added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
The Badgers will play Southern Idaho on Thursday, Feb. 21 for the regular-season conference championship. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. A win will give the Badgers the outright Scenic West Conference regular-season championship and the top seed at the upcoming SWAC Tournament.
