Badgers Claim Back-to-Back Victories at Southern Nevada

Box Score LAS VEGAS (March 17, 2021) -- After picking up a commanding 102-83 victory over Southern Nevada on Tuesday, the Badgers took a 93-86 victory over the Coyotes on Wednesday to earn back-to-back victories over CSN on the road. With Wednesday's win, the Badgers pull to within a half game of Salt Lake C.C. for second place in the Scenic West Conference standings.

After allowing the Coyotes to go on an 8-0 run to close out the first half, the Badgers came out after the break to go on an 11-0 run of their own to take a 17-point lead early in the second half. A CSN three-pointer with just over 10 minutes remaining in the game would tie the score at 66-66. From that point on, the two teams would trade buckets through much of the remainder of the game until Snow pushed its lead to seven points on a pair of free throws from Ross Reeves with under 10 seconds remaining.

Sophomore Matt Norman led the Badgers with a team-high 23 points on 8-of-17 attempts from the field, while Reeves chipped in 21 points on 6-of-11 attempts from the field, including five three-pointers.

Snow College will return to Ephraim on Saturday against Salt Lake C.C. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
