Box Score PRICE, Utah (March 27, 2021) -- Sophomore
Matt Norman scored a game-high 23 points, helping Snow College to a 96-65 win at Utah State Eastern on Saturday. With the win, the Badgers improved to 15-7 on the season, including a record of 10-5 in conference play. The win also marks the fourth victory for Snow in the past five games.
The Badgers outscored the Eagles, 46-30, in the first half behind nine three-pointers, and added another eight treys in the second half to post a 50-35 advantage over USUE in the second half. Norman was 7-of-15 from the field, inclduing a 6-for-13 outing from behind the three-point line.
Travis Wagstaff was 6-of-10 from the field, collecting 17 points on the night.
Drake Allen was credited with 13 points, while
Michael Scheffner tallied 11 points and
Tredyn Christensen chalked up 10 points in the victory. In addition to his 13 points, Allen had a team-high eight rebounds, while Wagstaff had seven rebounds.
While the Badgers have concluded their regular conference season, there are a couple teams who still have a game or two remaining. Regardless, Snow will finish in third-place and will enter the Region 18 as the No. 3 seed. The Region 18 Tournament will be held April 8-10 at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield, Utah.
