The Snow College women's soccer team defeated No. 4 Salt Lake Community College 4-2 Saturday in Ephraim.

The Badgers entered the matchup having won seven matches in a row and seeking revenge from the last time the two met which was a 2-0 loss September 1 in Taylorsville.

Fiona Jensen got the scoring started in the 32
nd minute off an assist from
Skye Kennedy.  Jensen would return the favor three minutes later as she fed Kennedy for another score to give the Badgers a 2-0 lead, which they took into halftime.

The Bruins fought back and scored two goals to begin the second half.  The match sat tied for the majority of the half until
Mayu Yamamoto broke the tie in the 85
th minute with a goal off an assist from Jensen.Â

Kennedy added an insurance goal a few minutes later to help seal the 4-2 victory giving the Badgers their eighth straight victory.  Kennedy has now totaled 24 goals on the season which leads the Scenic West Athletic Conference and is second in the country.

The Badgers will now turn their attention to Utah State University Eastern.  The matchup with the Eagles will be the last game of the regular season.  It is scheduled to begin Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Snow College Soccer complex.  For video streamlining and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.
