The Snow College women's volleyball team suffered a pair of losses over the weekend to Salt Lake Community College and the College of Southern Idaho.
Â
The Badgers had won three straight entering Friday's matchup with the No. 1 Bruins, who had won 12 straight games including a 3-0 sweep against Snow College September 24.
Â
The Badgers would suffer the same outcome against SLCC Friday as they failed to win a set.  The Bruins used a 6-0 run near the end of the first set to win 25-19.  Set two had to go overtime and was truly back and forth throughout.  The Badgers were one point away from winning the set, but the Bruins rallied an eventually won 32-30.  SLCC would finish off the sweep winning set three 25-18.
Â
Following the sweep, the Badgers turned their attention to the Golden Eagles where they suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 loss.  Snow College won sets one and three, 25-21 and 25-14 but lost sets two and four, 25-14 and 25-16, to set up a decisive fifth set.  Snow College rallied to level the score at 10, but the Golden Eagles won five of the final eight points to claim the 15-13 victory.
Â
