The Snow College women's basketball team collected its sixth victory of the season and their third within Scenic West Athletic Conference play Saturday in a 72-66 victory against Community Christian College in Redlands, California.
Snow College entered the matchup coming off an 86-66 loss to No. 10 Salt Lake Community College Wednesday. Â The Badgers would rebound by having their best shooting performance of the season against CCC as they shot 48 percent from the field, their highest total all season.

Snow College jumped out to a 9-0 lead to start the game thanks to six quick points from Suguturaga.  The Saints would punch back and eventually take a two-point lead before the Badgers took a 30-24 lead into halftime.

CCC brought the score to 34-32 midway through the third quarter, but back-to-back 3-pointers by Suguturaga gave the Badgers an eight-point lead. The Badgers led by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter before earning the 72-66 victory.

Suguturaga led the way in scoring again as she finished with her second double-double of the season scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Â
Enid Vaifanua finished with 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists while
Emily Evans put in 11 points and six rebounds. Â

The Badgers will now travel to Price to take on Utah State University Eastern Wednesday with tipoff scheduled for 5:00 p.m. before returning home to take on Colorado Northwestern Community College Friday also at 5:00 p.m. inside the Horne Activity Center.  For video streaming and live stat information, visit snowbadgers.com.
