Snow College Men's Soccer Hosts CNCC

OPENING KICKOFF: Having won three matches in a row, the Snow College men's soccer team returns home to take on Colorado Northwestern Community College Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Snow College Soccer Complex.

The No. 16 Badgers are returning home after playing their last four matches on the road, going 3-1 in that stretch with victories over Truckee Meadows Community College (2-0), College of Southern Nevada (5-2), and Community Christian College (4-0).  Snow College is 5-2-0 overall on the season and 3-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

KNOW YOUR FOE: CNCC has struggled so far in the 2022 campaign going just 0-6-1 with its draw coming against Northwest College August 26.  The Spartans have currently lost five games in a row and have scored just two goals over that period.

The Badgers have controlled the matchup history against the Spartans dating back to 2016.  Snow College is 13-0 against CNCC over that span and have only allowed seven total goals.  Snow College's largest margin of victory was an 8-0 victory September 14, 2018 in Ephraim.

LAST TIME OUT: Four different Badgers scored throughout the game starting with Ethan Boyd to give the Badgers the early 1-0 victory.  Oliver Fehintola and Richard Henry each scored goals followed by Harrison Taylor who capped off the victory with a goal.  Hugo Champalloux, James Miles, and Nick McNiel each recorded assists to aid in the victory.

Snow College has now won three games in a row and improve to 3-1-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.  The Badgers now play six of their remaining eight game at home to finish off the season.

UP NEXT: Snow College will head back out onto the road to face No. 18 Utah State University Eastern Saturday, October 1 at the Castleview Hospital Soccer Field in Price.  This will be the Badger's second-to-last road game of the season before playing five out of its final six games at home.  For additional information, visit snowbadgers.com.
